President

Dr. Jennifer Wilbanks

Dr. Jennifer Wilbanks serves as the President at Central Carolina Technical College.

Previously, she served as the Executive Vice President for Academics and Workforce Development at Horry-Georgetown Technical College and has over 22 years of experience working in higher education. Dr. Wilbanks has also served in past roles at Piedmont Technical College, including the assistant vice president for academics, dean of county campuses, interim dean for engineering and industrial technology, director of dual enrollment, instructor, outreach counselor, and career transition specialist.

A native of South Carolina, Dr. Wilbanks holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, a Master’s degree of Education with an emphasis in counseling, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, higher education, both from Clemson University. In addition to her earned degrees, she is a graduate of the Future Presidents Institute from the American Association of Community Colleges and a graduate from the South Carolina Technical College System’s Leadership Academy

Dr. Wilbanks has developed expertise in accreditation-related issues during her career by serving on several Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges accreditation committees. She is involved with her local community and currently serves on the McLeod Loris Seacoast Hospital Board, the Horry County Schools Business Cabinet, the Commission on Higher Education dual enrollment subcommittee, and was the past 2024-25 Chair of the state-wide Chief Academic Officers. She was also honored to receive the SCTEA Educator of the Year in the administrative category in 2023.

Vice President, Student Affairs

Lisa Bracken

Lisa Bracken has served as Vice President for Student Affairs since 2008. In this capacity, Bracken provides leadership and oversight for recruitment, testing services, admissions, financial aid, student records, outreach locations, student life, counseling services, career services, tutoring services, and TRIO and PBI grant programs. Bracken is responsible for overseeing student services, processes, personnel, budgets and planning.

Prior to serving as Vice President for Student Affairs, Bracken served as the Director of Admissions and Records, Assistant Registrar, Disability Services Counselor, Admissions Counselor, Recruiter, and Program Manager for Shaw Center. She also worked in a psychological treatment facility for children, domestic violence programs, and as a foreign language instructor overseas. Bracken has over 30 years’ experience in counseling and education.

Bracken is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota and came to Sumter, South Carolina as a dependent of a military member serving in the U.S. Air Force. She holds an associate degree from the University of Maryland, a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Eastern New Mexico University and a Masters of Education in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. Bracken also holds a graduate certificate in Higher Education Leadership from the University of South Carolina.

Bracken resides in Lexington, South Carolina with her husband Ron. She has two grown children, one of which is a graduate of Central Carolina Technical College.

Misty Hatfield

Vice President, Institutional Advancement

Misty Hatfield

Misty Hatfield serves as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Central Carolina Technical College.

She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations and advancement in the fields of healthcare, higher education and the military. Hatfield began her career as a Public Relations Specialist with Tuomey Healthcare System, now Prisma Health. She has previously held director level positions at Central Carolina Technical College, the Department of Defense and the University of South Carolina Sumter. While marketing and public relations has been a main focus, Hatfield has extensive experience in development and fundraising including employee campaigns, special event fundraising, golf tournaments and annual campaigns.

Hatfield has been involved with numerous boards and foundations including the City of Sumter ATAX Board, the American Heart Association, the YMCA Board of Trustees, the Chamber of Commerce, the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. She is also a graduate of Leadership Sumter.

Hatfield received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy State University, graduating cum laude and summa cum laude respectively. She and her husband, Lee, have two daughters.

Vice President, Academic Affairs

Jason Tisdel

Jason Tisdel was announced as the Vice President for Academic Affairs in August 2023.

Tisdel started at Central Carolina Technical College in August 2008 as a mathematics instructor. He has served in the roles of Mathematics department chair, dean of Arts and Sciences and assistant vice president for Academic Affairs.

Prior to joining the CCTC family, Tisdel enlisted in the United States Air Force and successfully completed a commissioning program through the Education Office to join the officer ranks. During his time in the Air Force, Tisdel earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wright State University and a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Tisdel moved to Sumter with his wife, Rhiannon, and son, AJ, after separating from the Air Force.

Vice President, Business Affairs

Cheryl Allen-Lint

Cheryl Allen-Lint serves as the Vice President for Business Affairs at Central Carolina Technical College.

Allen-Lint began her career at Central Carolina Technical College in July 1994 as a fiscal technician. She has served as director of accounting since December 1999 and as executive director of finance since August 2023.

“In my 30 years at CCTC, I’ve established a long-standing presence and gained extensive knowledge of the college,” Allen-Lint said. “One of my favorite quotes by Ella Fitzgerald is, ‘It isn’t where you come from, but where you are going.’ I am very excited to continue to ensure that available resources are effectively utilized to support student needs.”

Areas under her leadership include physical plant and operations, grounds, accounting, payroll and purchasing, information and learning technology, user support, security services, custodial, printshop and auxiliary services.

Allen-Lint is a member of the South Carolina Government Finance Officers Association and is a Certified Government Finance Officer of South Carolina. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Carolina.

Originally from Sumter, Allen-Lint is married to James Lint. They have three daughters, one son and an adorable puppy.

Chief Human Resources Officer

Trevon McClary

Trevon McClary serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Central Carolina Technical College, a role he has held since July 2022. He brings more than 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, having served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Human Resources Coordinator, and Director of Employee Relations. His leadership focuses on strategic talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.

A native of Kingstree, South Carolina, McClary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Allen University, a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Change and Development from Webster University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Columbia Southern University. He is a SHRM-certified Human Resources professional.

In 2025, he was named Administrator Educator of the Year by the South Carolina Technical Education Association. He was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster to serve on the Williamsburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. He also serves as Treasurer for the SC Technical College System CHRO Peer Group and President-Elect of the Sumter Human Resources Management Association.

In addition to his professional work, McClary is a pastor, author, and adjunct instructor, teaching management and human resources courses.
