Associate Degree in Nursing Program Accreditation & Approval

Paralegal Program Approval

The Paralegal Associate Degree program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) as having met all curriculum requirements necessary for training qualified paralegals.
The Paralegal Program requires at least a grade of C in ALL legal (LEG prefix) classes to graduate from the program.
Program Specific Residency Requirements: The Associate Degree in Applied Science, Major in Paralegal Program, requires that at least 50 % of the Legal Specialty Courses must be taken at Central Carolina Technical College.

Central Carolina Technical College reports that 100 percent of 2018 graduates of the surgical technology program have passed the National Certification for Surgical Technologist (CST) examination on the first try. The 2018 graduates’ 100 percent pass rate for the rigorous national examination on the first attempt is well above the national average of 69.8 percent for 2014, the most recent data available. This is the seventh year that Brie A. Weber, Surgical Technology – Academic Program Manager, has produced a 100 percent pass rate.

Water/Wastewater Program Accreditation

The Wastewater Operator Certificate Program is approved by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation Board of Environmental Certification to count as one-year of work experience toward a South Carolina operator license (after the trainee year is complete). Human Services Program Accreditation

Central Carolina Technical College’s Human Services Associate in Applied Science program received its initial accreditation by the Council for Standards in Human Services Education (CSHSE). CSHSE was established in 1979 to give focus and direction to education and training in mental health and human services through the country. CSHSE is the national accreditation organization that provides the foundation and direction for human services programs, assuring best practices in Human Services Education through evidence-based standards and peer-review accreditation process.
