CRJ 115 Criminal Law I

Course Description
This course covers the development of criminal law in America. The basic elements of specific criminal offenses, criminal defenses, and various legal principles upon which criminal law is established are reviewed. Prerequisite with a grade of “XC” or higher: RDG 032 or satisfactory placement score and a grade of “C” or higher: RWR 100 or placement into ENG 101. This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
