MTH 136 Kinesiology for Massage Therapy

Course Description
This course is a study of body movement and the body’s muscular and structural factors, such as posture and gait, in relation to massage therapy. Specific emphasis will be placed on the affects of massage therapy on the way the body reacts during various activities. Prerequisites with a grade of “XC” or higher: MAT 013 and RWR 032 or satisfactory placement score. Corequisites: MTH 113, MTH 121, and MTH 132. This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
