Friends of Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden awards scholarships to two CCTC students from Lee County
Two Central Carolina Technical College students from Lee County received the Friends of Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Mechatronics student Toney Felder and Design and Engineering student Jenkins McCullum are this year’s recipients. Friends of Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden has generously supported the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation scholarship program since 2008.
Scholarship awards are designated for two Lee County students, with a preference given to one student from Lee Central High School and one student from Lee Academy.
“We are grateful to the Friends of Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden for providing these scholarships for CCTC students,” Misty Hatfield, vice president for Institutional Advancement said. “The CCTC Foundation has the privilege of matching deserving students with donors looking to make an impact on their education goals.”
