Central Carolina Technical College receives Digital Marketing Awards

Sumter, SC — Central Carolina Technical College received six awards from the 8th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards (EDMA), which recognizes the best websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media in higher education. CCTC competed with colleges and universities from across the country.

CCTC was awarded three gold awards the following categories:  

CCTC also received high marks with one silver award and two bronze awards. The silver award was given to the CCTC Hybrid Virtual Graduation submission in the Microsite category. The bronze awards were given to the Your Donation Works Magic and Titan Strong submissions in the Digital Video Over Two Minutes and COVID Response categories.

“We are always looking for new and unique ways to tell the stories that define our outstanding students, faculty, staff and alumni,” said Misty Hatfield, executive director of Institutional Advancement and External Relations. “Whether it’s through traditional marketing campaigns or innovative digital strategies, we are proud to help shape the public image of this fantastic college. I am thrilled the staff’s work on these projects has been recognized amongst the best in the nation, especially during a global pandemic.”

The awards were judged by a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the EDMA editorial board.
