SUMTER, SC — More then 160 scholarships from the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation are available for current and future college students in Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee and Sumter Counties for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Scholarship awards range from $250 to $2,500 with most in the $500 range.
Students can visit www.cctech.staging.wp.collegeinbound.com/foundation to create a profile and complete the online application. Scholarship applications became available Monday, January 4, and the deadline to apply is March 12. Only one application is needed to determine eligibility.
Most scholarships are awarded based on GPA, county of residence, major, and/or need.
Second Look Charities supports students from Kershaw County with the opportunity to receive one of three $2,500 scholarships. The nursing program has three scholarships sponsored by the Tuomey Foundation in honor of valued nurses in the community. These scholarships are worth $2,000 each.
