First-gen graduate. Future environmental leader.

Savana Marksbary graduated from CCTC in 2024 with an Associate in Applied Science in Natural Resources Management, becoming the first in her family to earn a college degree. A lifelong passion for wildlife and the outdoors led her to the NRM program, where she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa and completed an internship at Black Creek Wildlife Center—earning certification in handling and relocating venomous snakes.

Today, Savana is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and plans to build a career in forestry or wildlife management.

Her advice to future Titans:
“CCTC helped me gain the confidence and experience to pursue my bachelor’s degree. Believe in yourself and take that first step.”
