Three Central Carolina Technical College employees were recently honored during the South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) annual conference in Myrtle Beach. Dr. Jessica Lea, Rebecca Sears and Taylor DuBose were recognized for their outstanding service and achievements.

Dr. Jessica Lea was named Administrator of the Year, Rebecca Sears was named Staff of the Year and Taylor DuBose was named Faculty of the Year.

SCTEA, a professional association of technical education personnel, hosts the annual Employee of the Year awards to recognize one individual in each category: administration and management, faculty and staff. Each college within the South Carolina Technical College System selects three recipients who are recognized during the conference luncheon and receive a certificate of recognition and a $100 cash award. The awards honor outstanding service and contributions to technical education across South Carolina.
