CCTC establishes first WEF chapter in South Carolina

SUMTER, S.C. – Last week at the South Carolina Environmental Conference, Central Carolina Technical College was recognized for establishing the first Water Environment Federation (WEF) Student Chapter in South Carolina. There are currently seven members in the WEF Student Chapter at CCTC.

WEF’s Student Chapters are professional organizations for students with an interest in the environment or becoming more active in the water industry. Student Chapters provide an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas between students, academics and members of the Water Environment Federation.
