Jordan United Methodist Church makes fifth donation
to a Central Carolina Technical College Foundation scholarship fund
MANNING, S.C. – Jordan United Methodist Church of Manning presented a check to the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation to benefit its Scholars Program on Tuesday, March 24 at CCTC’s F.E. DuBose Campus in Manning
This is the church’s fifth donation to the Jordan United Methodist Church Scholarship, which was established in 2011 to provide scholarships to Clarendon County students attending Central Carolina Technical College. More than 25 students from Clarendon County have benefitted to date from the generosity of Jordan United Methodist Church. “We value and appreciate our partnership that benefits the students of Clarendon County,” said Central Carolina Technical College Foundation Executive Director Meree McAlister.
Church representatives Rev. Wallace (Wally) Culp, Colleen Bochette, George Summers and Carole Summers presented the check to CCTC President Dr. Tim Hardee and McAlister. “We see this donation as an important outreach and missions program,” Culp said. “As Methodists we follow the teachings of John Wesley in helping to provide education for all.”
