Second Look Charities donates $10,000 to
Central Carolina Technical College Foundation Scholars Program

Camden, S.C. – Second Look Charities recently donated $10,000 toward scholarship support through the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation Scholars Program. Scholarships are awarded to Kershaw County residents attending Central Carolina Technical College. The Second Look Charities Scholarship, established in July 2013, has provided scholarship assistance to more than twenty Kershaw County students attending CCTC.

College President Dr. Tim Hardee and Foundation Executive Director Ms. Meree McAlister met with the Second Look Charities Board at the CCTC Kershaw County Campus to express appreciation for their generous support. Also in attendance was student, Keli Braddock, recipient of the Second Look Charities Mildred Yvonne Williams Scholarship for Academic Year 2015-2016. The Mildred Yvonne Williams Scholarship honors the memory of a dedicated Second Look Charities volunteer.

Ms. Braddock is currently enrolled in the Associates in Arts Degree Program at CCTC. She plans to complete the required pre-requisites and apply to enter the Associate Degree Nursing Program in August. Ms. Braddock has been named to the President’s List at CCTC signifying her excellent academic performance. She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Honor Society for two-year colleges recognizing academic excellence.
