By registering for classes at Central Carolina Technical College, I agree to pay all assessed tuition and fees as a result of this registration, unless I cancel by the end of the drop/add period. If I do not cancel my classes by the end of the drop/add period and am not purged from classes, I will be responsible for paying all tuition and fees on my account.

I understand the College is providing value to me in the form of education services and that my right to register is expressly conditioned upon my agreement to pay the costs of tuition and fees and any additional cost when those charges become due. I am personally responsible for the full amount assessed to me as a result of my registration.

I have read, understand and accept Central Carolina Technical College policies regarding application of financial aid to prior year charges, application of financial aid to non-institutional charges, application of financial aid to books/supplies at the College bookstore, third party provider, assessment of late payment charges, placement of financial holds, collection activity on past due balances, collection activity involving cell phone numbers and email addresses,Financial Liability Statement,Course Add/Drop period and Communication.

Application of Financial Aid to Prior Year Charges

I authorize Central Carolina Technical College to use Title IV funds awarded to me to pay a previous academic year debt up to $200. I understand that this authorization is only in effect if my total aid awarded for the current semester exceeds my tuition and fees for the current semester of enrollment.

Application of Financial Aid to Non-Institutional Charges

I authorize Central Carolina Technical College to pay outstanding charges on my student account, including but not limited to, prior term balances, parking fines, insurance, SLED checks, testing charges, late fees, and continuing education courses with excess Title IV funds which would otherwise be refunded.

Application of Financial Aid to book/supply charges in the College’s bookstore

I authorize Central Carolina Technical College to pay for items in the college bookstore with the Financial Aid awarded for the current term, including Title IV funds.
A student may opt out of the program if they already have all the digital components of the course. Students wishing to opt out must contact the bookstore manager at neiljm@cctech.staging.wp.collegeinbound.com and arrange for the charge to be taken off their account.

Third Party Provider

For those students whose tuition, fees and/or books are being paid by a third-party who has provided a purchase order or an authorization letter, I understand that if a third party refuses to pay because of non-attendance or non-completion of a course, I will be liable for any balance on my account.
Furthermore, if for any reason, the third party will not pay what is billed to them for my tuition, fees and/or books, I will be liable for any balance on my account.

Assessment of Late Payment Charges

I understand that Central Carolina Technical College will assess a $30 Non-payment penalty fee if my student account at the college is not paid by the due date listed on the website.

Placement of Financial Holds

I understand that Central Carolina Technical College will place a financial hold on my student account if I fail to pay in full all charges assessed to my student account at the College. This hold will prevent future registration, release of transcripts, and graduation.

Collection Activity on Past Due Accounts

I understand that Central Carolina Technical College may refer my past due student account at the College for collection and authorize legal action against me for the collection of this debt.
I agree that I am liable for all reasonable collection costs, maximum of 33 1/3 percent of past due student account, associated with collecting my past due student account at the College, including attorney fees, court costs, and other charges necessary to collect my past due account.

Collection Activity Involving Cell Phone Numbers and Email Addresses

If I provide a cell phone number, I authorize Central Carolina Technical College and its agents to contact me at that phone number and/or at any other cellular telephone number or wireless communication service I provide in the future, using automated telephone dialing systems, artificial or pre-recorded voice or text messages, or personal calls, regarding my obligation to repay any debt I owe to the College resulting from my registration.

If I provide the College with an email address, I authorize Central Carolina Technical College and its agents to contact me at that address and/or at any other email address I provide in the future, regarding my obligation to repay any debt I owe the College resulting from my registration.
I understand that if I want to revoke this authorization to contact me at the cell phone numbers and/or email addresses I provide, I will do so only by written email notification to BusinessOffice@cctech.staging.wp.collegeinbound.com.

Financial Liability Statement

I agree to pay Central Carolina Technical College for all charges on my account. I understand different programs and courses may include various fees in addition to the per credit hour tuition rate. I understand the College is advancing me an educational service by allowing me to register early. I agree to pay institutional costs including but not limited to tuition, fees, bookstore and other charges when they become due. It is my responsibility to view my charges in myCCTC and verify the accuracy of the information posted for each term.

Course Add/Drop period

During the Add/Drop period, I understand that I am required to attend each of my classes in order for the College to verify enrollment. If I do not attend my class(es) in accordance with the rules of face-to-face and online courses, I will be dropped from the course(s). I am responsible for knowing and complying with the registration deadline dates.

After the Add/Drop period, I understand that I may be withdrawn from my class(es) for excessive absences as defined in the College’s catalog.
Changes in my enrollment status during either of these time periods may affect my Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standing as set forth by the U.S. Department of Education and may affect financial obligations and academic standing with the college.

Communication

I understand myCCTC is an official means of communication with students. I understand I will receive email notification when my 1098T form is available in myCCTC electronically. The College will send email notification about account balances and payment due dates. I am responsible for reading the notices and reviewing my account statement in myCCTC.
