Central Carolina Technical College and the South Carolina Environmental Training Center are dedicated to providing quality training and technical assistance to environmental professionals across the state. We deliver training on campus, online, and onsite to meet the needs of operators and their facilities. Our programs are developed to provide operators with access to the latest technologies and educational services in the water and wastewater industry. Our staff works with utilities, municipalities, and industry to explore, develop, and deliver training that prepares operators for state certification examinations, provides opportunities to maintain continuing education requirements, and offers programs to enhance the skills of operators.
All academic certificate and degree programs for water & wastewater operators are 100% online and financial aid is available to eligible students.

In addition to the wide range of courses and programs offered on campus and online, the South Carolina Environmental Training Center (SCETC) is able to provide customized and site-specific courses to utilities and industries across the state. All customized courses are designed in consultation with the client to include:

PathWAY
PathWAY is an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit and gain hands-on experience at a local utility. This is a unique program for high school students to learn more about the water & wastewater industry prior to graduation. This program is a registered Youth Apprenticeship program with the US Department of Labor.

Refund Policy
A full refund will be issued for all courses cancelled by Central Carolina Technical College. Registrations cancelled before the cutoff date, ten (10) working days before the scheduled training, will be assessed a 20% administrative fee. There will be no refund for a cancellation less than ten (10) working days prior to the start date.
